OUR MISSION:

At Edgewood Baptist Church, every aspect of our ministry is rooted in a Christ-centered foundation. From the worship music to the sermons and Bible classes, our focus is on uplifting hearts and minds through the living truth of Scripture. Here you’ll experience solid biblical teaching and learn how to apply God’s Word to daily life in a way that honors our Savior, Jesus Christ.

BIBLICAL TEACHING:

We place a high priority on faithfully preaching and teaching God’s Word. Our worship services serve as a sacred time for our church family to gather, grow, and be challenged in our walk with Christ. Beyond Sunday mornings, Edgewood offers meaningful opportunities for fellowship and spiritual growth, so you can live your faith in community with others.

FAMILY FRIENDLY:

At Edgewood, we don’t just welcome families—we celebrate them! Our church is filled with the laughter, curiosity, and bright spirit of children, and we love having them be part of our worship service. We believe that faith grows best when experienced together, which is why kids aren’t just spectators—they’re part of the spiritual heartbeat of Edgewood. Whether they’re singing, learning, or simply soaking in the message alongside their parents, every child is embraced as a vital part of our church family.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

• • Our Sunday Worship service begins at 11am.
  • Our typical Sunday Worship service consists of expository & topical preaching, Christ-centered worship music, prayer time and Scripture reading. The service is about 1 hour long.
  • Our church offers many other opportunities and events throughout the week to continue your walk with the Lord. We offer In-home Bible studies, as well as Outreach opportunities within the Community of Washington, DC.
  • Our Wednesday Bible Study begins at 7:00pm weekly.

We encourage questions and love walking alongside guests as they explore their faith. Our pastoral team is always available after services or throughout the week to connect, pray, or offer counsel.

Edgewood Baptist Church is located in the heart of Washington, DC. Visitor parking is available near the main entrance, and our welcome team is ready to greet you when you arrive.MAP HERE.
